An excellent opportunity for an experienced HR/Recruitment Officer to support the HR Manager of this global charity, based in central London. The HR team manages the people related issues, including recruitment, identifying and meeting staff learning and development needs, succession planning, performance and pay reviews, supporting employee welfare and good employee relations, updating policies and handbooks and ensuring awareness of current employment legislation.
The aim of HR is to deliver a high quality, flexible Human Resources service, responsive to the needs of the organisation, and in line with legislative requirements and best practice.
As the HR/Recruitment Officer you will assist the HR Manager but be fully responsible for all recruitment campaigns, by liaising with Line Managers / external agencies / including being on the interview panel.
You will also be involved with ER issues and maintain the HR database "Simply Personnel"
This position will suit someone who is confident to run with recruitment campaigns
As a smaller HR team you will be happy to take on varied duties and to liaise with Senior Management, ensuring HR strategy is implemented in line to the company's guidelines
You will provide a comprehensive recruitment service including advertising vacancies, screening applications, inviting candidates to interview and co-ordinating interviews.
Also deal with all the on-boarding of new staff e.g. pre-employment checks, referencing and checking right to work documents etc
Excellent and confident communication skills
Solid experience of running recruitment campaigns
Preferably CIPD / or internal recruitment experience
Previous experience of working within a charity, would be beneficial
Have a proactive approach
Be available for the next 2 months poss plus
Hourly Pay Rate £15 - £17.00
