Talent Acquisition - £50,000
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for coordinating all vacancies up to Senior Manager level in Uxbridge and as required for role in Belgium. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with internal clients by sourcing, recruiting, interviewing and hiring qualified candidates and will ensure compliance with all applicable internal processes and policies and legal requirements. This is a hands-on delivery role initially liaising with traditional recruitment agencies with the future vision of sourcing innovative research methods to identify the best candidates in the market.

  1. Manage end to end recruitment for all internal clients for the UK and specific roles in Belgium;
  2. Provide tailored advice, guidance and support to recruiting managers in relation to their specific needs;
  3. Clearly qualify hiring manager needs, setting expectations fairly and creating relevant documentation such as advertisements as required;
  4. Analyze and evaluate new and existing job descriptions and ensure description is aligned with JD template;
  5. Coach hiring managers with effective recruiting practices to ensure polices and legal requirements are compliant;
  6. Process all recruitment administration - prepare internal and external job advertisements, web postings, specifications for external recruitment agencies, job descriptions and other materials in accordance with the organization's recruitment standards and business needs;
  7. Respond to enquiries from candidates, managers and external recruitment agencies about the organization's recruitment activities and about the status of job vacancies so that interested parties are kept informed without compromising the organization's standards of privacy and confidentiality;
  8. Contact candidates, arrange interview times and develop appropriate interview questions in collaboration with the hiring manager so that interviews are conducted efficiently and equitably;
  9. Qualify candidates, over the telephone and face-to-face, to accurately assess suitability for the role and cultural fit for the team and wider business and core values;
  10. Recruit, interview, assess and hire highly qualified candidates for all disciplines utilizing effective recruiting methods including targeting passive candidates;
  11. Present shortlists to hiring managers in a consultative manner adding real value to the recruitment process;
  12. Provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates based on the job's pre-established selection criteria and the organization's recruitment policies;
  13. Extend and negotiate offers to candidates;
  14. Handover details of successful candidate to HR for onboarding;
  15. Manage the existing preferred supplier list;
  16. Maintain and build relationships with existing agencies;
  17. Possess knowledge of the latest recruiting strategies (including social media) utilizing a high level of creativity and latitude, with the view to implement;
  18. Select recruitment sources and techniques to effectively fulfill the client and the organization's staffing needs;
  19. Research and identify innovative and cost-effective advertising vehicles;
  20. Develop networks utilizing various professional organizations, internet space and direct sourcing to attract top talent;
  21. Build databases and develop a talent pipeline;

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

  • Educated to degree Level (ideally in a HR or related field);
  • Previous experience at senior level of working as an in-house recruitment position is essential;
  • Experience of effectively sourcing, interviewing and hiring candidates for levels up to Senior Manager;
  • Experience in using an Applicant Tracking System (Taleo) is desirable;
  • Experience of sourcing candidates from numerous avenues;
